Burton's Gore-Tex Under Mitt crams a ton of value into a waterproof, warm, and comfortable package. Removable four-way-stretch liners let you dial in warmth to fit the weather conditions, while Thermacore insulation and a soft brushed lining offer full-time insurance against cold hands. Add in a vent/handwarmer pocket with a built-in goggle chamois, and you end up with a low-profile mitt that's as functional as it is warm.

Amazing gloves!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: Runs small

I really love those gloves. They came with a nice liner, they are soft, well made. I got them for my sister, and I am sure she will be happy with them. Hell, it made me want to go ski and I live in Texas! Having those gloves on made me miss the snow and living in Utah.

Size is a little bit odd for the though. I ordered L size and I was worried that I made a mistake, because me/my sister have very small hands, but they actually fit perfectly.

So satisfied!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These mittens are AWESOME! I have been using Burton (mens) mittens for years and loved them, but I figured it was time for an upgrade to some new gear. I didn't even think twice about sticking with Burton and I'm so happy I did. These gloves are really top notch. They aren't bulky to wear, even with the liners inside. I've used them with and without the liners and both times they are great. They can hold off the Utah snow and keep my hands dry and warm. Also, I've used the liners alone on warmer days and they are perfect. They have awesome grip on the palms and fingers which make it really easy to grip my poles when I'm skiing, and easy to adjust my bindings when I'm on my snowboard!

Is the liner a mitten or a glove?

I'm looking at the Burton Women's Gore-tex Mitten for skiing out west. Does anyone know if this mitten runs small, large, or true to size?
