Just because you ride in extreme conditions doesn't mean your fingers have to suffer. Keep your digits toasty with the Burton Women's Gore-Tex Mitten. How do we love the warmth this mitten provides? Let us count the ways: Gore-Tex waterproof membrane, the DryRide Ultrashell two-layer fabric, the Thermacore insulation, and the removable DryRide Thermex liner. And just to prove how much Burton loves you, it added the brushed microfiber lining and heater/vent pockets for removable hand warmers. super warm

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love these mittens--but i'm a mitten fan. Own more than a few pairs which range from super light for warm days, to thick and heavy for the frigid, less than ideal east coast winters. and these are amazing. the gore protection and waterproofing is just a bonus. Great idea for the additional thermex liner (and i do use it when i'm desperately cold) but they fit way smaller than the mitten does and actually cut off circulation and leave heavy stitch imprints so i usually opt for my ultra thin butter liners.

Warm and toasty!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I have always had gloves but heard how mittens were so much warmer. I love my Burton Baker gloves, but after 7+ years of use, it was time to retire them. This winter I finally pulled the trigger and couldnt have been happy. I love the liner, they are super warm but I agree with some reviewers. The tech compatibility would be much better if the LINER was tech enabled. I liked them so much I bought a men's pair for my husband. Can't wait to use them more this year. I got them Kasbah and love the color! I prefer bolder colors, that way no one can accidentally mistake your glove for theirs!

Warm mitt

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've previously owned a pair of the Burton Baker mitts (from manyyyy years ago) in a size large. They were definitely too big, so this time around I was sure to order a medium. It's possible that it is just the sizing difference, but if think Burton has changed the size of the opening for your hand. For a medium, and an over mitt, the opening seemed pretty was a but tough to get my whole jacket sleeve into the opening. Other than that, the gloves are great. Warm and very waterproof. The included liners are a nice feature, however, those seemed to run large...and as another reviewer commented, it's annoying that the liners are not touchscreen compatible on their own.

Not tech friendly

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

Yes, you can use the small area that is touch screen compatible, but it is unwieldily and not terribly useful. Typing your password and selecting a single app is a chore, but doable with patience. Better than having to take the mitten off I guess. Rest of mitt and inside liner are not touch screen capable. They ARE as warm and waterproof as advertised. I'm keeping the gloves, just a little disappointed.

Bomber Mitt!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love these Burton mittens, they are so adorable and the fit is amazing! GoreTex keeps these mitts dry on the wettest days, and paired with the inside liner, you're fingers will be toasty on those storm days. Liner can be removed and worn alone of spring days. Easy to get on and off with jacket on. Little pouch for hand warmers is a plus too!

Great for all days.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These mittens are awesome, hands down, no questions asked. They are warm enough for the coldest of days with the removable liners, and are also great for spring days without the liners! In the summertime I ride with just the liners, so you're really getting two pairs of gloves for the price of one!

Cold conditions

    Ice cold conditions

This is why Burton is Number one in the snowboard world. Burton was able to add screen grab to the gore glove which is insane. The entire palm and all fingers are touch phone ready. Total touchscreen control without exposing your fingers to the cold!

Perfect for getting those sick shots up on instagram as its happening!
