Frostbite sucks—the Gore-Tex Mitten doesn't.

Drop your hard-earned coin on the Burton Women's Gore-Tex Mitten and put an end to the suffering you've been plagued with in winters past. Natasza Zurek relies on this totally waterproof, insulated hand cover to keep her digits pumping with warm blood so she can make grabs and sign autographs. The secret to warm, dry hands isn't just the Gore-Tex membrane that keeps water out while still allowing vapor to escape when your hands sweat. Burton's DryRide Ultrashell 2-layer fabric is wind- and water-resistant, and the removable DryRide Thermex liner adds to your comfort on freeze-your-ass-off days. And Burton knows you often you blow snot out of your schnaze and cake your goggles with snow when you under-rotate, so it added a nose-wipe and separate goggle wipe—bonus. It even has a zippered hand-warmer pocket—double bonus.

This mittens are awesome with all the features you could want. They keep the fingers toasty! The seams in the liner are very uncomfortable inside the glove - they don't lay flat and rub the sides of your fingers. You would think they would be better in a Burton glove at this price. Especially when they pay attention to all the other details in this glove/mitt.

Can't decide between gloves or mittens? Go with the mittens! They come with glove liners (so your hands don't freeze while you're taking photos etc). On really cold days, tuck a hand warmer into the pocket and another down around your fingertips (toasty!)

I got these for my daughter and she absolutely loves them. She usually complained of cold hands, and in a couple of very cold days this season, she has not complained (as much). They are her favorite now!

These mittens are amazing! I have another pair of gloves that I usually bring up when I snowboard to use if my hands get cold but I never need to use them when I wear these mittens. The GorTex keeps water out and my hands never get cold. The leather palm holds up very well too. I will continue to replace these mittens with a new season after having mine for about 4 years. They have only recently started to wear in the finger tips because they are slightly too small for my hands. Get these mittens and you'll never be disappointed!

Do this mittens have wrist cords so that you won't lose them on a lift? I swear by them and wish burton goretex gloves/mits offered that feature...

Yes, these mittens have wrist cords, and also elastic and tightening cords separate from the wrist cords.

I went outside in a not so cold day to just see how they felt. Within seconds or a minute I began to feel the mitten almost heat up, got nice and warm. The Insulator mitten didn't do that. I haven't skied in them yet, but I think the other rec and my first impression would call this one a good one to try. The liner has some rubber looking patchwork on the palm and it comes out of the mitten, essential if you have to use your hands for something. I really like these, just haven't trail tested them yet.

Gore-Tex membrane to guarantee dryness and the theracore to keep you super warm and on those unexpected days when you need a little more you get a thermex liner cant beat a 3 in 1 glove.

I bought these mittens to replace the same ones I bought 3 years ago. Yes, the last ones lasted 3 seasons, even with riding 100+ days. These are the only mittens that have really kept my hands dry and warm. Very rarely have I had to use the liner, but they do come in handy on those sub zero days. I never considered using a hand warmer, because my hands were always toasty and dry, even when the rest of my body was freezing. The gore-tex keeps your hands dry all of the time, even in spring, slush conditions. The material on the palm was super durable, only in the last season did it start to show some wear, probably from carrying my board.

I bought these for my sister. The day we went to test them out, we were in clouds with freezing rain and snow all day long. After riding for 5 hours, these gloves were soaked on the outside but her hands were still dry! She didn't get cold and the liners never got wet. When we were done for the day, we could ring out water from all our clothing and these mittens never once soaked through to the skin. Awesome mittens for any condition!
