The Burton Women's Gore Mitt keeps your hands sheltered from the storm. Thermacore insulation acts like a sleeping bag for your hand. while a waterproof breathable Gore-Tex provides outstanding breathability and waterproofness so you're hands don't get soaked in sweat or water. . Burton designed the Gore Mitt with a gauntlet you can pull over your jacket sleeve to keep out snow and seal in heat. The four-way stretch removable liner feels soft against your skin and provides ample dexterity. Leave the liners in your car on warm days and just rock the shell. The Gore Mitt's Sticky Icky palm gives you firm grip for tweaked-out grabs in the park or pipe. *Available for US Shipment Only.

Bottom Line: Your knuckles might be dragging, but they'll still be warm in the Burton Gore Mitt.

Love 'em.

I got my first pair of these mittens at REI and absolutely love them. They are SUPER warm, especially with the liners, which are tight enough that you can actually use your hands if you take off the mittens. There is also a zipper pouch for hand warmers if you need them, but I have never been cold with these. There is a little spongy wiper thing to wipe your goggles too :)

Unfortunately, after about 2 months of regular weekend use, the seam on one of the mittens started ripping - and the tear got larger over time. Despite this tear, I was ready to keep the mittens because I love them so much, but REI refunded my money and I purchased a second pair from backcountry.com. I have not yet used the new ones, but I already know I love them so I'm not worried.

Despite the tear, I would recommend these mittens to anyone.

Nice Warm Dry Mitt

By:

Very good mitt; kept me warm & dry even in -10C weather. The color and design on it helped, too, rather than the boring all black. The portion from the thumb split to the top is a bit too long; and to the wrist a bit too short for my hands, but did not affect performance at all. Highly recommend.
