Warmth and style come together.
With its classic fit and laid-back styling, it's no surprise that the Women's Fly Pant is one of Burton's most popular pants ever. The warmest pant in Burton's line, it sports a healthy dose of Thermolite insulation and a microfleece lining to make it perfect for the "always cold" crowd.
Thermolite insulation protects your legs from freezer burn without making the pant look or feel bulky, and microfleece in the seat keeps your buns warm on the chairlift. Dryride Durashell fabric shields against snowstorms and howling summit winds, and taped seams prevent moisture from seeping in throughout the day. The Classic fit flatters your figure, while still allowing ample room to layer underneath on the coldest days. When the snow turns to slush in late spring, open up the mesh-lined inseam vents to get a refreshing blast of cool air.

Got these as a gift for my girlfriend ans here is what she has to say:
I love these pants! The material on the outside doesn’t give that annoying sticky, rubbing sound that many snow pants tend to give, the inside layer is incredibly soft and warm, and the fit is actually flattering, too! The pockets are perfect and seal with Velcro making it easy to get into but safe enough for stuff to not fall out. I wear a size XS when I usually wear a size 4 in pants (I’m 5’4” & 130lbs).

I have owned a pair of Burton Fly snowboard pants since 2011, and I absolutely love them to death! After 5 years of teaching kiddos how to ski and snowboard in them they are worn out. The waterproofing is still top notch, but the knees, bottoms, and crotch area are tired. I ordered a new pair of Burton Fly pants (in the same size as my old ones) and they came today. Unfortunately, they are not the same pant as the ones I'm hoping to retire, in fact I can't believe they are considered the same style. They fit much more snug then expected which does not work for a ski instructor squatting and kneeling a lot. I held both pants up against each other and the new Burton Fly pants are easily 2 to 3 inches smaller in the hip and waist area. I guess I should have realized that the new snowboard pant style is more fitted. Also, I'm not sure why but Burton got rid of that handy ski pass clip on the front left belt loop. The new pants have no place to attach a ski pass which is a bummer. Anyways, I'm giving them 3 stars because I know they'll do the job for some people, but I'm not a fan of the changes.
For those who might want a looser fit I'd order up a size. I wear size 6 in pants and ordered a Medium.
