As the warmest pant in Burton's Women's collection, the Burton Women's Fly Pant offers low-bulk insulation and premium waterproofing for park aficionados and powder connoisseurs alike. Its DryRide Durashell 2-layer membrane and fully taped seams keep you pleasantly dry through winter's barrage of blizzards, icy precipitation, and even passing rain showers. 60g Thermolite insulation traps fiery heat along your lower body, which is especially useful when the mercury plummets into the single digits. And for those warmer spring sessions, the mesh-lined thigh vents quickly cool your legs, expelling built-up water vapor (i.e., perspiration) when you're lapping the park and blasting down slushy cruisers. Other shred-friendly features include anti-scuff cuffs for rip and tear-resistance, as well as cargo pockets for functional on-snow storage.

I have owned a pair of Burton Fly snowboard pants since 2011, and I absolutely love them to death! After 5 years of teaching kiddos how to ski and snowboard in them they are worn out. The waterproofing is still top notch, but the knees, bottoms, and crotch area are tired. I ordered a new pair of Burton Fly pants (in the same size as my old ones) and they came today. Unfortunately, they are not the same pant as the ones I'm hoping to retire, in fact I can't believe they are considered the same style. They fit much more snug then expected which does not work for a ski instructor squatting and kneeling a lot. I held both pants up against each other and the new Burton Fly pants are easily 2 to 3 inches smaller in the hip and waist area. I guess I should have realized that the new snowboard pant style is more fitted. Also, I'm not sure why but Burton got rid of that handy ski pass clip on the front left belt loop. The new pants have no place to attach a ski pass which is a bummer. Anyways, I'm giving them 3 stars because I know they'll do the job for some people, but I'm not a fan of the changes.
For those who might want a looser fit I'd order up a size. I wear size 6 in pants and ordered a Medium.
