Description

The little fish with big-board float.

The Burton Family Tree Fishcuit Snowboard builds on the legacy of the legendary Fish by shrinking the package to ramp up the fun factor. Using Nug Raduction technology, you're able to downsize 4-8cm from your regular board, and still have way more float than a lot of old-school powder sleds. Next time it dumps, head to the trees on the Fishcuit and see what you've been missing.

The Fish introduced the world to Burton's S-Rocker camber profile, and it's no surprise that the same profile finds its way to the Fishcuit. It's cambered until you reach the front binding, at which point the nose kicks up to provide effortless float. The float is bolstered by the Boat Hull Nose, which is spooned for extra float. The camber profile is complimented by an aggressive 35mm taper, so the nose is over an inch wider than the tail. When combined with the mini swallowtail, this shaping means that the back end will sink, the nose will stay afloat, and you'll enjoy a surfy ride next time the white stuff stacks up deep.

The Pro-Tip keeps the nose and tail nice and light, so the Fishcuit is easy to throw around. It's built from triax fiberglass so it's not a noodle, even though it has a comfortable flex, and the carbon fiber I-Beam gives you extra pop. And the base is Burton's WFO sintered base, which holds a bunch of wax to keep you flying down the mountain. Next powder day, you'll be psyched. As for your friends who got stuck trying to follow your line? Well, just wait and see.
