Just keep on swimming.

It was only natural for the Burton shapers to do some fileting and create the Fish Splitboard, the most iconic pow board in Burton's lineup. Designed for dropping in first on the deepest days, the combination of a surfy double swallowtail, deeply tapered shape, and rocker float ensures the Fish Split keeps rising to the top, run after run.

Splitboards have traditionally used drilled inserts to mount the binding pucks, which limits the range of angles and makes getting the pucks lined up exactly right a challenge in itself. However the Channel mounting system offers an infinite range of angles, so, getting the pucks lined up is a snap. This also makes it possible to get your stance exactly right, since you aren't stuck using a preset angle. Also, because it's so easy, you'll be more inclined to get it exactly right, rather than just getting it close and leaving it, which used to be the norm.

With a Directional Flat Top profile, the Fish Split is predominantly flat with a rockered nose for reliable stability and effortless float on those especially deep days through surfy terrain. The Superfly II core uses lightweight woods that specifically target strategic areas to drop weight and increase pop, and this season all the wood is FSC-certified so you know you're not destroying the rainforest for a snowboard. Dualzone EGD adds edge control by placing perpendicular strips of wood along the edges.

The core also features a Squeezebox profile that creates stiffer zones outside the bindings and a softer flex between the bindings, resulting in more control with less effort. Pro-Tip construction means a tapered tip and tail thickness to reduce swing weight and booss mobility, while the sintered WFO base is extra durable to keep you lightning fast all season long. The triax fiberglass laminate gives you versatile flex and response for whatever kind of terrain you skin to this winter.
