The Burton Girls' Feelgood Smalls Snowboard packs all the performance and features that make the adult model a top pick for demanding freestyle riders. This board's twin shape lets your grom ride with confidence in both directions until she decides which foot she likes forward. The full tip-to-tail wood core provides a smooth flex and gives your future ripper plenty of control and even some extra pop for when she starts jumping. Burton even outfitted this board with a Pro-Tip to reduce swing weight for easier turning. *Burton sends us these boards in varied colors, but they all look sweet, so you'll be stoked on all of them. - Fall 2008.

Bottom Line: Enough clout to take your girl from her first turn to her first rails.

Hey guys, i am just wondering if this board is good for a begineer boarder, 5"1', 90 lbs female but she's improving very fast. We are trying not to waste $$ on getting a begineer board since she might be changing it very soon.if she's riding a 134, with casa size 6, what binding should she use?

The Feelgood is a very nice board. Be aware it is a freestyle board, which means it's meant more for park and pipe, and not so much for powder, big mountain, backcountry, etc. As far as bindings go, if you want to stick with Burton, you could get the Stiletto's and Lexa's are both a nice choice.

If a youth is the same size as an adult than why should it matter.

If a youth is the same size as an adult than why should it matter. I asked Burton this and it still does not make any sense. If the board is based off of weight, why would you not save the $300+ dollars and get the Feelgood smalls. When the 141 Feelgood small is 70-125 in weight and the 140 Feelgood is 70-125 in weight. If the youth human and the adult human are the same size and skill level than why should it matter if you get the youth compared to the adult? If someone has an answer that would be great.

What boards people ride is not based solely on weight vs. board length, The technology of the board is what makes the difference. Men ride stiffer board becaue they are typically stronger, while women's boards are more flexible becuase thet ride with more finesse. This applies to a youth board too, youth are not as strong so their boards flex alot. An agressive rider on a flexible board loses control.

What's the difference between this board and the adult ICS.

What's the difference between this board and the adult ICS. My girlfriend is an intermediate to beginner snowboarder and is very small (5'3" and 102 lbs). I'm wondering if this board would be better for her than the adult? Can anyone help me out please?

well, if she's intermediate to beginner i probably wouldn't start her off with a Feelgood, its a great board but its for the more advanced rider. If you were looking specifically at Burton boards, i'd suggest the Feather or the Lux boards to start out. Even though shes small, i'd say get the adult board. the Smalls is made for smaller kids. But just size down to somewhere between a 143-146.
