Description

Progression starts here.

Just because you don't have tiny feet doesn't mean you should have to ride a big, stiff men's board that's going to hold back your progression. Instead, jump on the Burton Feather Women's Mid-Wide Snowboard and notice your riding improve right away. The V-Rocker profile makes catching an edge a thing of the past, and the soft flex is as forgiving as it is fun.

  • V-Rocker profile offers continuous rocker the length of the board for catch-free playfulness and float in pow
  • Biax fiberglass offers a forgiving, jib-friendly flex
  • Women's-specific True Flex Fly Core uses wood from tip to tail for a lightweight and poppy ride
  • True twin shape lets you dial in switch riding
  • Extruded base is fast and easy to repair
  • Mid-Wide waist accommodates bigger feet

I just purchased the Women's Burton Feather...

I just purchased the Women's Burton Feather mid wide 152 snowboard. I am 5'7 and weigh 147 lbs. I have extremely comfortable boots, and they are a MENS 10 (I know what you're thinking, big feet)! Anyway, my shoe size is a women's 10, but all the boots out there that are my size make my feet cramp up. I have been sowboarding for 15 years. I am going to Mammoth CA tomorrow to try my new board.
The waist width of this Burton board is 244 mm. My current board is 250 mm. With a size 10 men's boot, do you think I'll be okay? I hope I don't have too much drag. 244 -255 mm is really only 1cm difference right? Thanks

More room to grow please! With a nice smooth ride the Feather will help you along the way. Softer then the Social to make you love each day of riding with a tradition set up the Feather will go great with the Citizen binding, no more lunch breaks for this girl.

What size shoe makes it time to move up to the mid wide? I wear a size 9.5 in womens. 5'11" 135, trying to decide on what size to get... Feather 153/156 or Feather Mid-Wide 152. I currently ride a Burton Troop 154

Hey,

You've got your length right, 153 is almost dead on. You'll be fine on waist widths in the low-to-mid 240's. So, in this case, no need to go up to the mid-wide Feather, the regular will be just fine in your length.

Thanks Josh. So staying with the regular should I go up to 156 or down to the 154? Also, any word on how the new feather is handling in hard pack?
