Description

Fresh-squeezed powder fun.

Hop on the Burton Juice Wagon Snowboard and let it take your powder riding to new places. With traditional-camber profile, medium flex, and a directional tapered shape, the Juice Wagon delivers freestyle performance in a freeride package for a board that slays any run, whether at the resort or in the backcountry.

  • Cambered profile offers tons of pop and smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail
  • Triax fiberglass delivers versatile flex and response for all-mountain performance
  • Jumper Cables Hi-Voltage carbon rods transfer energy from your feet to the tip and tail for increased pop and power
  • Directional shape utilizes a slightly longer nose to improve control and float in all conditions
  • 12mm taper offers a narrower tail for effortless turn entry and exit, as well as superior float in powder
  • Extra-absorbent sintered WFO base is infused with a specially formulated wax for a durable base that stays fast all season long
  • Infinite Ride process consists of Burton overbuilding the board, and then breaking it in at the factory for a ride that feels good out of the plastic and stays crisp and poppy season after season
  • Pro-Tip uses a thinner tip and tail for reduced swing weight
  • The Channel allows you to micro-adjust you stance over a greater length and an infinite range

A little stiff

I'm 6"1" 190 pounds and got the 170. The board is great for untracked backcountry powder, but what board isn't? I'll ride it on hardpack on a sunny day, but as soon as it gets bumpy or hard to see it feels like the board is in control of me instead of vice versa. I used my 168 Supermodel from 2 years ago more than the Juicewagon last season.

Freestyle all-mountain Destruction

Inspired by Stephan Maurer and his take to riding the Fish, the Juice Wagon is for those that see the mountain and their canvas and take freestyle to natural features. A mid flex traditional Camber combined with a directional shape/flex and a moderate taper provides for powerful, precise, and snappy stick.

any reason why backcountry has the board at 599$ and every other site is 569$?
