    Better than money.

Pow days are pay days, so cash in on winter's frozen assets with the Burton Women's Family Tree Day Trader Women's Snowboard. Whether you're riding lifts or bootpacking in the backcountry, this freeride-oriented board was designed to help you make the most of every day it dumps. The flat profile helps you stay surfy in powder without feeling squirrely on landings and provides reliable edge hold on hardpack. A setback stance and a tapered tail helps your nose stay above the deep stuff with ease and keeps your tail in the snow for more steering power.

Different types of woods make the Super Fly II core extremely strong, yet super-lightweight, while Dualzone EGD strategically positions the wood grain along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and boosted strength. You'll also feel good knowing the core was made from sustainably-harvested wood and the topsheet is made from recycled plastic bottles to reduce waste.

Squeezebox core profiling features a mix of thinner and thicker sections throughout the core for flex where you want it and strength where you need it, and the Pro-Tips tapered-width nose and tail reduces swing weight. Infinite Ride construction eliminates the patience-trying break-in period, meaning this board feels the same from day one to season four. It's finished off with the Sintered WFO base, which is extra-absorbent for long-lasting speed and durability with little need for constant re-waxing.

    Good stuff

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Last winter my girlfriend brought this board as a back-up on a trip we took to Japan. Long story short, we hit the weather perfect and this board come through.

What she loved was how this board could charge through anything and still stay afloat in the deep snow. She'd never ridden a board with a tapered directional shape like this but the benefits clearly outweighed the versatile twin shape she was used to.

The only draw back would be this board is a little on the heavy side for smaller people.

    Good stuff

Finally a fun shape on a women's board

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The industry has been making guys' boards in more powder specific shapes for years. The Day Trader is just that but for women. It reminds me of the Malolo from about 8 years ago. Super maneuverable in tight trees, fun to carve, and really surfy in powder. This thing rips and is the most fun women's all-mountain board in my mind.

It is super fun on groomers Kevin! With the slight taper and more traditional sidecut it holds an edge and carves really well on softer or firmer groomers. You aren't going to get as much edge-hold on bulletproof ice as you would with something with more contact points (think magne-traction). Though for mountain West to West coast groomers this will have all the edge-hold you need for an everyday board.

    New Favorite Board!

I heart the Day Trader. It is a playful yet stable all mountain board for the woman who wants to be able to go everywhere on the mountain. It is really carve-y and floats incredibly well in powder. Pretty much obsessed
