The Element jacket... too cool!

Hi all, I am from Quebec so winters are cold here and I needed a perfect hot/stylish jacket that I found. That's the BURTON Element in L.A. denim and that's the nicer jacket I had ever had.. too much style:D but It can be alot warmer according too me. Good mix between style and warm. This jacket IS PERFECT. I think I am the only one having this jacket here and I really like this :) Excellent choice... same it's a bit expensive (y)

any comments on using this jacket in warm...

any comments on using this jacket in warm powder days and the backcountry? i have a gortex insulated Quiksilver that about 5 years old that i get too warm in when i have zip it up to keep the powder out and the temp is 30 degrees plusi will keep using my gortex on cool days but want another jacket for warmer days that can still keep my dry. so this would be to use:1.) on warms days in the resort when there's powder and may be snowing2.) hiking in the backcountry. this will usually be when its sunny but with powder.. right??any input would be great!thanks

hi. i'm looking for a jacket that i can...

hi. i'm looking for a jacket that i can also wear as a casual winter jacket. will this be warm enough without a fleece underneath?

You'd be warm enough with a hoody or something undeneath, but not a t-shirt in the winter. This jacket has quite low breathablity and waterproofness so I would actually recommend another jacket for snowboarding/skiing if you plan to ski alot in slushy weather and wet powder. If you keep in the slopes this jacket will be great. And In backcountry aswell, if its not too hot outside and the snow start melting.
