Despite what the name suggests, you've never experienced a feeling as good as the one you'll get when you strap into the Burton Women's Deja Vu Flying V Snowboard. This true twin all-mountain slayer has a versatile flex and profile to allow you to kill it whether you're riding park or powder.

The Flying V profile features rocker at the tips and between the bindings for float in powder and catch-free riding on hardpack, and camber underfoot adds pop and improves drive and precision. A medium-soft flex makes it soft enough to jib with, but it's still responsive enough to tackle steeps and charge jumps, and the twin shape allows for unrestricted switch trickery. Side Effects technology extends the surface area at the contact points for better planing in powder and improved grip on groomers.

The Superfly II core uses lightweight woods that specifically target strategic areas to drop weight and increase pop, and Dualzone EGD adds edge control by placing perpendicular strips of wood along the edges. Squeezebox profiling makes the core thinner where you want flex and thicker where you need strength. Overbite Frostbite edges extend out from under your bindings even more than standard Frostbite edges to create extra contact points for a huge increase in edge hold and control on hard, icy slopes, and Pro-Tip tapered-width tips reduce swing weight. Infinite Ride construction means this board feels the same from opening day to closing weekend, and it's finished off with a sintered base to keep you moving fast and hold up to abuse sustained in the park.

Does the channel mount ride different than the 4 hole mount?

Best Answer

Hey Andrea,

The Channel allows nearly infinite and customizable stand-width and angle adjustments. With the rider’s feet closer to the board and less inserts in the board, the board will fully and naturally flex as it was intended. Traditional mounting systems do not allow the board to flex beneath the rider’s feet, creating a “dead spot.” The channel system increases responsiveness and control which allows for a more natural feel and creates a more comfortable ride.
