Mind-bending all-mountain powers.

Despite what the name suggests, you've never experienced a feeling as good as the one you'll get when you strap into the Burton Women's Deja Vu Flying V Snowboard. This true twin all-mountain slayer has a versatile flex and profile to allow you to kill it whether you're riding park or powder.

The Flying V profile features rocker at the tips and between the bindings for float in powder and catch-free riding on hardpack, and camber underfoot adds pop and improves drive and precision. A medium-soft flex makes it soft enough to jib with, but it's still responsive enough to tackle steeps and charge jumps, and the twin shape allows for unrestricted switch trickery. Side Effects technology extends the surface area at the contact points for better planing in powder and improved grip on groomers.

The Superfly II core uses lightweight woods that specifically target strategic areas to drop weight and increase pop, and Dualzone EGD adds edge control by placing perpendicular strips of wood along the edges. Squeezebox profiling makes the core thinner where you want flex and thicker where you need strength. Overbite Frostbite edges extend out from under your bindings to create extra contact points for reliable edge hold on icy slopes, and Pro-Tip tapered-width tips reduce swing weight. Infinite Ride construction means this board feels the same from day 1 to 100, and it's finished off with a sintered base that provides long-lasting speed and durability.

Here's what others have to say...

will this snowboard fit burton EST bindings only ?

Responded on

The channel system from Burton works best with Burton EST bindings (it allows for natural flex of the board with no dead zones), but they are not the only bindings that will work. Burton also makes Re:flex bindings that works with the channel as well as 4 hole boards. Many of Union's bindings come with a universal disc that will work with the channel. It really depends on the bindings. Check the compatibility and if you have any questions please feel free to hit up our Gearheads.

Floaty, fun-tastic powder board

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this board as a deck for powder, and I'm really stoked I did. This board performs amazingly in powder: it's floaty, soft, and yet can still hang with good maneuverability if I ever take it off of jumps or cliff drops. The Flying V technology is really what sold me-- camber underfoot for pop and stability, and rocker between the bindings and at the tips... it can really handle any condition, which is perfect for life in the Northwest, where the snow can go from fluffy wonderful powder, to mashed potatoes, to crusty hardpack... all in the same freaking day.
It does have the channel, which limits the bindings that you can put on the board. However I ride only Burton bindings anyway, so that hasn't been an issue for me.
Solid board!
