Loaded with Burton's top-end tech, the Custom X Snowboard features a traditional camber shape and a beefy flex that demands you ride it at high speed. The ridiculously lightweight Dragon Fly core and plenty of carbon help you boost higher and charge faster than any limp-tailed rocker board ever will.
- Stainless-steel, corrosion-resistant Frostbite edges extend slightly out from the binding zones for bonus grip on firm snow
- Vaporskin fiberglass tech slashes overall weight without sacrificing durability
- Dragonfly wood core uses hundreds of separate laminations for insane pop and light weight
- Lightning Bolts Hi-Voltage radiate carbon from binding zones to tip/tail for extra ollie power and edge control
- The Channel mounting system allows infinite stance options and easy on-the-fly adjustments
Bottom Line: The nitrous-powered ride of choice for Freddi Kalbermatten, Kazu Kokubo, and Marko Grilic.

I have owned and ridden the 164 Custom X-wide since it came out with the est track - for two years now? Love it so much! I came from hardboots and this is my first all mountain twin-tip board. With Burton's stiff boots and the right bindings, this gear can carve hard - if you setup the non-est bindings on the tracks that way. Est bindings limit angles to 20 degrees or so. One morning found myself staring down a long narrow chute thru the trees (by mistake one day, jumped on wrong lift!)?, just reach into ur pocket and grab the DaKine ratchet screwdriver - loosen and slide the bindings wide and angle them duck and drop in. I stay out of parks and pipes - too icy for my liking! For my one board do-all travel fun insurance for me at 190lbs., Burton 164 Custom x-wide was my choice and no buyers remorse here! Even has my wife thinking of putting on the soft boots now...
