Available Colors / Styles
When you've elevated your shredability to the type of ninja-style insanity in your favorite vids, then step up to the Burton Custom X Snowboard and ride the ultimate all-mountain freestyle weapon. From brain-bending speeds, to Kong-size airs and spins, this ICS-kitted monster is the clear choice of Burton pros Frederik, Kazu, Peetu, and Marko. Burton super-tuned the legendary Custom Snowboard to make the Custom X faster, more responsive, and snappier than your boss on Monday mornings. All this adds up to you shredding the sickest terrain on the planet with no regard for hesitation, holding back, or ever coming in second place. *We can't control the color of board you get, but who doesn't like surprises?
- The Channel - binding mounting system gives you infinite options for tweaking binding setup and improves board feel (works with Burton 3D & EST bindings)
- Dragonfly wood core with Positive Profile & Multizone EGD; drives you through turns, improves edge hold, carving precision and response
- Vaportech Vaporskin uses a carbon blend to reduce weight while magnifying feel and response
- Lightning Bolts radiate power and response outward from The Channel for instant energy transfer and effortless precision
- Carbon I-Beam adds pop and longitudinal snap
- Pro-Tip shape reduces swing weight so you can get even dizzier
- Infinite Ride ensures that the Custom X Snowboard has maximum pop and strength and rides with a consistent feel from the first day to infinity

Made the switch in the early 90's to snowboarding and finally found my "special stick" a few years ago and haven't looked back. If you want a board that can hang with you anywhere, in my opinion this is it. I'm about 5'9" 160 and ride a '60. Trees, steeps, bumps, drops, pow, you name it - this is my go-to. (Though I also keep a bigger powder board around for those just right days). Don't spend too much time in the park anymore, but there's enough pop here to keep me from embarrassing myself in front of the kids. holds up pretty well too.. my last customX lasted 2.5 seasons of pretty hard riding at Kirkwood.
Change me.
