Mads Jonsson, Heikki Sorsa, Mason Aguirre, and Luke Mitrani worked with Burton to bring you the new Custom Snowboard. This year's model features Pro-Tip construction for reduced swing weight and great handling in the powder, a sintered WFO base for speed, and a lengthened tail for improved switch riding. This legendary freestyle snowboard's Dualzone EGD construction alternates the orientation of its Super Fly II core's wood grains for incredible edge hold and a precise flex. Its Carbon I-Beam fiberglass gives the Custom Snowboard powerful pop while 10:45 sidewalls provide bomber edge strength to meet the demands of aggressive riders. NOTE: You may get a different colored board than the one you see here. We can't control it. But we're sure you'll be stoked. *Available for US Shipment Only.

Bottom Line: With the new Custom Snowboard, Burton took it up a notch to make a freestyle legend even better.

I got the 166 as a warranty replacement for a new Burton Air that developed a crack in the top sheet. I noticed this board is buckling/concaving in the base under the bindings. I've always been a fan of Burton but these last 2 boards make me wonder. This board is ok in powder and the pipe but did not feel especially fast or impressive on the groomers - my buddy on his custom x was leaving me in the dust. If you have the bucks go for the custom x.

BEST BOARD EVER

By:

I got this board for this year. The best way to sum it all up... I LOVE IT. I have ridden all kinds of boards - as in Nitro, Ride, K2, and more - and then I got this board. There's no other comparison to it. I can ride on the mountain and carve all over, and have ultimate control - and then turn around and head over to the park and absolutely own it. It's pretty much the all time best all-round board ever made. I wouldn't change it for anything. If you buy you WILL be pleased.

This board is the Corvette of snowboards!! It's as fast as all get out and handles like a dream. It can handle anything. Response is amazing too on this board. It's totally worth it, plus the graphics are killer!

one of the best

If you like doing anything on the mountain, the Burton Custom is for you. It will kill in the park, pipe, powder, and groomers. This board is really fun to ride, really durable, and as a bonus, has nice graphics. The board has nice flex, not too soft, but not too stiff, just perfect, probably why it is one of the most sought after boards on the mountain. If you are looking to get a board that will kill season after season, get the custom, you will not regret it.

Super Fun Ride

By:

This is a super fun board to ride. It is quick edge to edge for freeriding performance. It has a lively flex - soft enough to press and forgiving on off-axis landings, but with enough pop to have a good time. Nice graphics are a plus too.

Last year I got the 167 for my powder board. That board was so awesome I went and got the 162 for my everyday board. Who says you can't have more than one board? The graphic this year are rad.

Wow! I love it. It's real smooth, and it's flexible. I love the design and it gets a lot of looks. If ur lookin' for a nice sturdy board that's real light and is gonna last a few years on the rails and park, this is your board.
