You might want to get the Burton Kids' Custom Smalls V-Rocker Snowboard a little on the large size for your budding rider, because he will outgrow its length long before he has exhausted its possibilities. The playful, catch-free V-Rocker camber, which makes it so easy to get the hang of those first turns, is also a blast when he gets to the park. The Custom Smalls’ twin flex, twin shape, and centered stance gives him the balance and mobility to nail riding switch.

Custom v-rocker smalls

I just got the 145 wide for my birthday and i have been playin around on it. it is sooo popy t is not even funny. It could be a 1 or 2 instead of a 3 on the flex chart. And the top sheet scratched easily but other then that great board so far. I will tell you how it is on snow when i get a chance to go shred. It is good to have a pair of burton freestyle bindings with this board. And morrow boots are preaty good with it.

    sweeet board

I have the 2010 burton custom smalls and its amazing perfect for freestyle, freeride, park, you name it. the only thing about it which doesnt bother me much, but if you do rails and park. this board will get scratched up.. atleast the 2010 one did, and the v rocker really helps. the pop is incredible on this board ill even put up a pic or two of my board

      sweeet board

Hmm not sure what size board I need. I'm 5'3 and I weight 103 pounds. Some charts say I need a 133 and then others say a 140. I'm a rookie so I'm thinking smaller is better, but do you buy a board based on your height or weight?

My son is only 12, although he needs a 140 board his feet are adult size men's 8 will putting bindings on this board to accomodat ethose boots work?

How tall is he? How much does he weigh? Are you sure a 140 is what he needs? If he is 80 lbs or more, a 145 may work. And if he can go up to a 145, he could get a wide board- which would certainly work best.

I am not 100% sure, but I think that an adult small binding would fit on a 140. A medium MAY also work...depending on how the angles are set.

The board will fit any bindings you need to put on there. If you son is a size 8 in men's then I think you may want to get the 145, it all depends on his weight though. If you put a mens medium or small on this board it will work just fine, don't worry about it all.

I'm 5'2", 110 lbs, size 9 boot, but only 12 yrs old so will probably grow over next couple years. Been riding about 3 years. Is the 145W big enough so I can get a couple of years out of it?
