Easy-riding confidence for big boots.

Instilling confidence across the entire mountain, the Burton Clash Wide Snowboard pushes your progression from bunny-hill blazer to park-jib slayer. It has a smooth-flexing, easy-to-control feel that makes progression fun, and its forgiving profile keeps faceplants to a minimum. The board's wider waist accommodates riders with bigger boots, preventing toe overhang from dragging you down on aggressive carves.

The Flat Top profile is mostly flat for a stable feel and easy turn initiation, with rockered tips that lift the contact points off the snow so you don't catch an edge and slam when you're working on your turns. Although set back about an inch, the Clash retains a twin flex pattern, allowing you to try your hand at switch carving and tricks without sacrificing much in the way of performance.

The Super Fly core features a mix of hard and soft woods for the right blend of snap, strength, and forgiveness, and Dualzone EGD adds edge control by placing perpendicular strips of wood along the edges. The core also features Squeezebox Low core profiling, meaning the board's ends, just after the binding inserts, are beefed up for better energy transfer, subsequently making turning a bit easier. Additionally, you'll find the board's easy-flexing biax fiberglass makes for effortless turn initiation without unwanted stiffness or rigidity getting in your way. Cruise Control edge tuning rounds off the edges so they're less grabby on snow and won't dig in when you're sliding boxes, and the extruded base is low-maintenance and easy to repair if you ding it up.
