Like an exotic dancer on steroids, the Burton Cartel Re:Flex Snowboarding Binding rocks awe-inspiring flexibility and brawny strength that can handle your hammer-down riding style. Here you'll find nothing but a lean and mean, a do-it-all binding with superior cushioning and Hi-Back support. Look to your left and look to your right; you're not imaging the legions of shop-rats and pros riding the Cartel, it's just that good.

  • Re:Flex increases board flex and feel through a minimized baseplate that reduces weight and uses a hinged disc for increased responsiveness
  • Tool-free adjustable Canted Living Hinge highbacks mirror your natural stance for better heelside power transfer
  • FullBed baseplate padding and B3 Gel heel cushioning absorb impacts from flat landings or choppy snow
  • Gettagrip Capstrap features sticky rubber to lock down your boot with less pressure
  • Cushy Superstrap locks down your heels without cutting off circulation

Bottom Line: Bend the mountain to your will.

Love these! Perfect right out of the box. Notice Burton didn't change these much in 2012? That is because they got these right from the start.

Good stuff

These are pretty good bindings. The pad underfoot feels softer than on the malavitas but is still responsive. The straps are great and the hole in the highback makes it easy to carry lol. Not sure these give me increased boardfeel or not. They are comfortable and feel great.

The only crappy thing about these is the lack of side to side adjustment on 4x2 boards. With the malavitas you can turn the plate sideways but with these obviously you can't. If you have an ics board though, it shouldn't matter.

Basically, with bindings, if I can crank them tight and not have to think about them all day then they are doing their job. I only notice bad bindings when the straps loosen or things break. So, with that in mind, I can safely say that these are great bindings.
