That "where's the flood" joke got old when you were about twelve. Since then, you've considered cracking a few skulls over that one. Well, you can relax, because you aren't going to hear it when you're wearing the Men's Burton Cargo Tall Pants. With a longer length, they're made just for you.

The Cargo Tall pant provides protection where it counts. The DryRide Durashell membrane and fully taped seams handle nasty winter storms. If it gets too warm, you can dump heat in a hurry by popping open the mesh-lined Test-I-Cool vents. Expandable boot gaiters slide over your boots to keep snow from finding its way in. Burton also included reinforced hems with cuff elevators so you don't shred your pants walking through the parking lot at the end of the day. Finally, you can protect your valuables or just warm your digits with the fleece-lined, zippered front hand pockets.

Fantastic product, and retailer

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I've bought tons of gear through BackCountry. Sports watch, eno & straps, climbing gear, the list goes on. I had been searching for a new pair of board pants for a while and this was the best price I could find them in my size. Not only that, but FREE 2 day
Shipping? I couldn't turn it down. I've never had any problems with BackCountry and they always send stickers with your order ?. Customer service is always great and I couldn't be happier with choosing them for my purchase.

The product:
Fantastic quality. The waist has an adjustable strap and is also lined with a soft insulate that is great for those who don't wear long johns. Very warm and very flexible. Looks exactly how it did online. I'm 6'1 and 195 lbs. I was worried about getting the large because I'm a 34 waist, but I definitely made the right choice in doing so because of my height. They fit just right, to the point where you can sag just a little bit without looking like a child in men's clothing.

Great pants but won't work for me.

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:True to size
  • Size Bought: L

I so like these pants that I was going to keep them. After second thought I decided to find something that fits better. I'm a 36" waist and right on the border between L and XL. I tried both. Sent the L back for being a little too tight and almost kept the XL despite being a little too loose. The waist has straps that adjust and the straps do snug up the waist. However, it leaves a major buckle in the pant waist. So, I am returning after all even though they are great pants. The size range is broad and just doesn't work for me. As I said in my review of the large, you may have to choose to size up or down if you are a 36" waist. Quality and style seemed to be top notch. I was disappointed to have to send them back.

Short people got no reason...

I find that ski pants either are to short or too fat for me. I am 6'0 and weigh in at 197# with an atheletic build. I tried these Burton Cargo pants in the tall size LARGE and they are perfect! Plenty of room to be active on the slopes, with an internal fitment adjuster on the waist, plus belt loops. The LARGE seems just a little slim with a thick underlayer on for cold days, but feels just right with my normal kit. If you are looking to sag, you better size-up. The Tall Size means long: these pants cover my scarpa T-1's so that when I'm dropping a knee on my tele-boards they don't ride up so far. And I drag like a jibber when I walk around apres.
