Description

It's about time someone considered the tall riders of the world.

The 'flood's coming' joke was old when you were about 14. Since then, you've considered cracking a few skulls over that one. Well, you can relax because you're safe now. At least while you ride. The Burton Cargo Tall Pant is made just for you Edward Longshanks types, so it looks like, at least for now, the flood has been diverted.

The Cargo Tall pant provides protection where it counts. The waterproof breathable DryRide Durashell membrane and fully taped seams handle nasty winter storms. If it gets too warm, you can dump heat in a hurry by popping open the mesh-lined Test-I-Cool vents. Burton also built a jacket-to-pant interface into the pants so you can attach them to your Burton jacket to create a suit of snow-proof armor. Expandable boot gaiters slide over your boots to keep snow from finding its way in. The integrated waist adjustments allow you to customize your fit. Burton also included reinforced hems with cuff elevators so you don't shred your pants walking through the parking lot at the end of the day. Finally, you can protect your valuables or just warm your digits with the fleece-lined, zippered front hand pockets.

  • Zippered, mesh-lined Test-I-Cool vents

2 questions:
1. is it a shell? or warmer?
2. i'm 6.1, should i take the 'tall' or 'regular' cargo pants?

Responded on

Hey Dude,

1. This is a shell pant-- it will not have any insulation, so you'll definitely want base layers.
2.This will depend on the size of pants you need. As a rule, the Cargo Talls have 2 extra inches on the inseam as compared to the regular Cargo.
