The Burton Capstrap is the one upgrade you shouldn't go without. A Capstrap fits over the front of your boots instead of the top of your foot. This eliminates pressure from your foot and increases boot-hold in the bindings. Since the Capstrap works from the front it actually pushes your boot back into the binding's heel-cup, creating a more solid fit and better performance without having to crank-down your binding straps. Letting you ride more comfortably and with better control. Get some and see why all of the best riders are rocking them. Check standard features list for binding compatibility.

Bottom Line: Pop a Cap on your bindings.

Should have thought of it

Super comfortable and even better performance and response. Thought about buying new bindings, but glad I didn't. I wish I thought of the design, I'd be rich.

Excellant Upgrade

These are an excellent upgrade to any Burton Binding. First off the pull your boots into you bindings making your heel much tighter in the heel cup. Secondly they eliminate toe pain and cramping from your conventional binding straps. This makes for more comfortable riding all day long. Since your foot is held into the bind tighter it makes for a little better binding response but not too much. The two things you need to do to make them work at there best is this, Make sure you have the cap strap centered on the toecap of your boot. This makes them hold better and slip up less often. You also must get used to cranking your toe straps down first and your heel straps second. You get a better binding hold and less slippage if you go in that order. I've used these since they came out and I love ’em! All my bindings have these and I no longer use conventional straps anymore. For comfort they are awesome, if your looking for a performance upgrade get a new set of bindings these don't do much.

A must have

Not only are they easy to install, they easily make a cheaper pair of bindings perform much better. The first thing you'll notice is that your toes aren't being crushed like they used to be. Then you'll notice that your feet are glued to the board. Being as inexpensive as they are, there's no reason not to get these.

Extra Stiffness

By:

Most new Burtons and higher models come with cap straps already. These cap straps add a lot of stiffness. I really don't recommend having these on your first binding sets because it gets harder to learn. Wish it could've been a bit cheaper, but don't we all do.
