Comfort and control coalesce.

The Burton Escapade Re:Flex Women's Snowboard Binding places a premium on ergonomic comfort, maximum adjustability, and all-terrain response. Using Burton's Re:Flex technology, the Escapade Re:Flex maximizes the true flex of your board, thanks to its minimized baseplate and hinged disc design. All Re:Flex bindings come with a Universal Disc that works with any board on the market, ensuring compatibility with 4-hole, 3D, and The Channel mounting systems.

Featuring a mid-level flex that borders on the responsive side, the Escapade Re:Flex is ideal for the all-mountain ripper, ranging from intermediate all the way to advanced. Whether you're slashing two feet of powder, launching park kickers, or simply cruising groomers, this binding delivers unmatched comfort and response for riding anything on the mountain. Its Canted Zero-Lean highback features the Kickback Hammock for added shock absorption. This highback design uses a suspension-like, two-piece design with an internal spring to reduce vibration and increase edge-to-edge response.

New for this year, the binding's AutoCant Fullbed uses strategically placed B3 Gel pods to absorb impact from rough, choppy snow conditions and flat landings. The AutoCant Fullbed is a dual-density footbed that allows your foot to naturally roll into the binding for a more anatomically aligned stance, also known as canting. Canting increases the power exerted over the nose and tail, especially when you're riding a rockered board. It also takes pressure off your knees for added comfort.

Burton's Hammockstrap minimizes the materials used for a lighter overall weight, without sacrificing comfort. In fact, you'll find it snugly wraps around your ankle without the pressure points of thicker, heavier straps, thanks to its cored-out, 3D-curved design. New for this year, Burton revamped its Capstrap, giving you the Super Grip Capstrap for a stickier, snugger fit that comfortably wraps around your toe for the utmost in response and comfort.

Problem solved

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

After a deep laceration on the sole of my foot I have struggled to find a bindings in which my foot didn't hurt. I had a pair of Rome and Union bindings and I was unable to ride for an extended period of time. Since I received these burton bindings I have had no pain, they are really comfortable and responsive. Would recommend these bindings for sure.

My boards Soul Mate

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Burton Escapade is an absolute gem when it comes to women’s snowboard bindings. I bought my first and only pair of Escapades back in 2010 and guess who is still using those original bindings? ME! For 5 seasons I had a ski lift 1 mile out my front door and was on the mountain 4 plus times per week. I have definitely put them through the wringer and not once have they ever given me an issue. They may not look new anymore but they definitely are still strong and responsive.

The Burton Escapade comes in two models, Re:flex and EST. The only difference between the two, is the compatibility with your snowboard mounting system. The EST binding will only work with the channel mounting system where as the Re:Flex binding will work not only with the channel mounting system but also with 4-hole and 3D mounting systems. Both bindings retail at $299.95. I would highly consider purchasing the Re:Flex model even if you have only a channel mounting snowboard. You may want to add a different board to your quiver and it would save you money if you had a universal binding!

These bindings have become one of my favorite pairs.

I love the high backs and LOVE the ankle straps. It fits like a glove.. or perhaps a sock? :)

I am a very aggressive snowboarder so its really important to me to have something that is going to be responsive.

This is the bindings for me. The toe strap secures me foot into place as well.

I do not ride a Burton boot, and the one thing I do see happen, is that my heel of my K2 boots are juuuust a bit too wide. I'm used to it now and I just have to put a bit more effort into pulling my foot out.
