Here's what others have to say...

This tool's ratcheting system broke the second time I used it rendering it useless. I chose to ignore all the other reviewers who said this and am regretting it now. Do not buy this piece of junk.

    Just what I needed

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times

Whether you are riding hard, or have weak wrists, your bindings will loosen up over time.

If you're lucky, you're at the top of the hill where you might be able to find some tools. For all those other times, you have to deal with the shaky ride back down and that's never fun.

These little tools easily fit into a pocket and will have you riding safe and sound in no time.

No issues with the ratchet yet. I have cranked on it pretty hard already and it doesn't show any sign of weakness. Hopefully it will stay that way. Until then, I'm pretty satisfied!

Never got a chance to use

    • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it

Ratchet system failed as soon as I took it out of the package. Trying the dakine torque driver

    very nice when works

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I love this device...when and if it worked. I had three of this, and the ratcheting mechanism of two of them broke on the very first use.

    Absolute junk

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just used this for the first time to tighten up my bindings. On the third screw, the ratcheting mechanism broke and it will no longer tighten. Works just fine in the counter clockwise direction still.

    Bite the Bullet

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I have carried this tool in my pocket or in my pack for 5+ years now. I've used it to install new bindings in a pinch, tighten my setup on the hill, make changes to touring partners kit in the backcountry, you name it. I love how compact it is while remaining effective. Flip out the lever and you get enough torque to secure your bindings to the board. The ratchet ensures you always have the right leverage. There's two Phillips screwdriver bits for all the binding fastners, and a 10mm wrench to secure the other end of the screw. Secure lock means the bits won't go flying on the piste.

A staple in my kit, year after year.

    Small packages...

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

To date this is the smallest ratcheting screwdriver I have ever seen. Not to mention this thing has got the power!

    Broke within 1 Week

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Used this tool to put bindings on a snowboard. Worked well.

A few days later, used this tool to put bindings on another snowboard. It broke: I can no longer apply any torque in the counter-clockwise direction. The ratcheting mechanism slips.

Some of the other reviews say that they have had theirs for years without problems, so I am going to get it replaced and see how the second one works out.

I have two of these. One for myself and one for my fiancee.

They fit perfectly into any jacket pocket.

Are easy to operate with mittens on.

    Generally perfect.

The only thing that has happened to my yellow version is a little rust from me not drying the bits off after a day of riding. totally my fault though.

    Love this tool!

I've used the bullet for a few years now. Compact tool and gets maximum torque for your gear. If all you care about is bulkiness, I would go with the Burton EST tool. If you're worried about durability don't ... I work in the oil and gas industry in Alberta and ordered 30 of these for the guys I work with because of functionality in cold weather and how compact it is. All I have received is positive reviews!

      Awesome handy tool

Bought this off season but used it already to adjust my bindings. Super simple, has small compartment for 2 screw heads(1 phillips,1 flat) and a small wrench.

Plus it has reversible gears like a ratchet to tighten or loosen, and middle setting for regular hand twisting.

Hope I don't need this on the mountain but you can bet it will be in my jacket pocket just in case.

        7 years and still going......

this is my um...... i think 3rd "bullet tool" (we like to call it the magic bullet). this thing has saved my ass more time then i can count! what a great tool! the awesome ratcheting and leverage you get from it keeps my former bike mechanic/board tuner hubby happy in a small size and for a small price! the only reason i have ever had to buy a new one was either because TSA decided i could take apart an airplane with it and took all the bits or because i just lost the bits. So basically dont ever try to check this thing on an airplane and it'll last you a lifetime!

This tool works GREAT!!!! it's prob one of the BEST accessories i have in my backpack. it's got the items/tools you need and when the handle is folded out, you can really crank it down! VERY NICE especially for the price!

            Burton Bullet Tool

this is my second Burton bullet purchase because I lose my tool every year it seems. It's small and light weight and can fit in any pocket. Don't go to the mountain without it.

If your tired of always looking for a tool to tweek your board or the bindings get a little loose and you don't want to waste time getting off the hills this tool is perfect. I havent had it long but it has been so nice to get off the lift and tweak my bindings just a little but deffinately a must if your just got some new bindings to work out the kinks and not leave the hill. Such a time saver not sure how it holds up but it fits easy into a pocket and no worry of it poking you like a screwdriver would.

                Burton tool

When i first bought this i thought that it was going to be a little bit bigger than it was. But it does fit into a pocket easily or choose what i do and keep it in my backpack. Easy to use!

Great little tool. A bit on the heavy side for being so small but really does a good job. It has held together so far so I'm happy with it.

                    Me love longtime

Useful, definitely a must for backcountry goers.

                      All Mountain Weapon

Small, light, efficient. Don't get stuck at the top of the mountain, come prepared.
