The Red Board Lock will ward off board-nappers. The recoiling cable with adjustable combo lock wraps around the board, through the bindings, to the ski rack. While we would recommend leaving your board tied up overnight, at lunch-time, it will deter thieves from grabbing it and nonchalantly walking away. It works great. But the wire is a bit too thin. Any wrench could easily cut it. Definitely theft deterrent, not theft-proof.
