Fire it up inside the park or out.
The freestyle-focused Burton Blunt Snowboard has been updated this season for even better all-terrain performance from the streets to your favorite tree stash. Burton added a Flying V profile for increased versatility that lets you shred as hard outside the park lane as you do between the ropes. The result is a playful deck that slays rails and jibs, but also is capable of crushing jumps, floating in powder, and weaving through trees.
Flying V features rocker between the bindings and at the tips for a loose, catch-free feel that's fun to jib and butter around the mountain, along with camber underfoot for the pop and stability needed to hit jumps, not to mention improved edge hold for all-mountain shredding. Biax glass gives the board a soft torsional flex so you can tweak presses and bone-out blunts.
The Super Fly core features a mix of hard and soft woods for the right blend of snap, strength, and forgiveness, and Dualzone EGD adds edge control by placing perpendicular strips of wood along the edges. Squeezebox profiling makes the core thinner where you want flex and thicker where you need strength, and Frostbite edges extend out from under your bindings to create extra contact points so you can hold an edge on icy runs and frozen takeoffs. Tapered Pro Tips are thinned out to reduce swing weight, and Infinite Ride pre-breaks in the board so it feels the same from opening day to closing weekend. It's topped off with a fast and durable sintered edge that can withstand abuse from rails and keeps you moving fast into jumps.
