Blaze-down barriers.

Raise your freestyle progression through the roof with the easy-flexing feel of the Burton Blunt Snowboard. As an iconic park and freestyle-specific deck, the Blunt loves to spin off kickers, butter around the mountain, and press through the park with its stable feel underfoot and catch-free tip and tail. Designed with a Flat Top profile, the Blunt has flat camber underfoot for increased stability, helping you straight-line park jumps and set-up for rails without the board ever feeling overly loose or squirrely. Adding a bit of easy-pressing fun back into the equation, the Blunt's rockered nose and tail allow you to effortlessly press and jib without hanging up.

New for this year, Burton added their Super Fly core for a lighter overall feel with tons of strength to combat serious beatings in the park. Its Squeezebox Low core profiling beefs up the areas just past the binding inserts for a slightly firmer flex that stomps landings and locks into presses without looping out. Additionally, you'll find the deck's scooped nose and tail allow for a looser, more forgiving feel that begs you to jib and butter everything in sight.

Here's what others have to say...

I have a boot size 9 and weight 132 lbs. What size burton blunt do you recommend? Thanks!

Responded on

At only 132 pounds, you're needing a 140cm board length.

The smallest the Burton Blunt comes in is the 147cm. That might be a bit of a jump.

What are you currently riding? And is this primarily a park board for you?
