Mt. Baker in Washington gets crazy amounts of snow and lots of wet weather, so people who ride there know a thing or two about keeping their fingers toasty and dry. Burton took a cue from them when designing the Women's Baker Mitten and made it capable of handling any weather Mother Nature decides to toss your way. The 2-in-1 design features a super warm and waterproof shell with a removable liner for extra warmth when winter brings its worst.

DryRide Insane Membrane waterproofing blocks out wind and snow while allowing vapor to escape so your hands don't get clammy. Thermacore insulation keeps your digits from freezing without restricting mobility so you can still hold your grabs and adjust your bindings. A Sherpa fleece lining adds one last line on defense by holding in heat and wicking heat-robbing moisture while providing a soft feel against your skin. The palm features a synthetic leather that allows you to use your touchscreen without taking your mitten off, and the technology is built-in so it will never wash off or wear out.

When the temps are falling fast, throw on the DryRide Ultrawick stretch liner underneath for even more warmth and moisture management. Not only does it increase the overall warmth of the mitt, but it also allows you to take off the outer shell when you need to use your fingers without completely exposing them to the cold.

Love them!

I absolutely love the floral camo pattern, but the gloves themselves are awedome too. The glove + the liner kept me very warm in 15 degree weather last weekend. The outer glove has straps to go around your wrist so you do not lose them, and has really easy adjustable straps to tighten/loosen the cuff, even with the outer gloves on! Having the liners to lace up the boots or check your phone is perfect in those temps. However, i found that the iphone screen did not react to the liners at all. I just ordered a different liner to go woth it that will hopefully be better for that.

    Love these

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I wasn't sure about the 3 in 1 system initially. It seemed like the liners were just something to lose. However, after using them I have seen the light. I love having the liner to protect my hands when I need to get my phone out to take a picture or check the time while I'm up on the slopes. The fact that the liners are touch screen compatible just seals the deal. They have kept my hands warm, even when the temperature fell below zero. It's great that these come with a place to put heat pouches (and they even came with a set), but I've never had to use them. I was so happy with mine that I had to get a pair for my wife.

    COld out there ...

      Ice cold conditions

One of the best things about this glove is the dryride ultrawick liner. For those freezing cold days add the liner for the warmer days ditch the liner and for those summer like days just wear the liner . All problems solved
