When the mountain freezes over and you're tempted to go hide in the lodge, use this Burton glove's shell and liner together and brave the cold. The Approach Mitt's 5K-rated water-resistant shell fends off rain and snow, leaving your hands comfy and warm. A short gauntlet that sits over your jacket cuff helps keep the snow out—even when you full-on ragdoll your way down the hill after wiping out on the steeps. They run a little small so I had to take them back for mediums but they fit my real nice now. The glove liners are nice when you don't want to be a ninja turtle and be able to grab and eat stuff. Afterwards the mitts slip right back on and off I go. Super good waterproofing and keep me really warm. They don't feel like much but they deliver a lot.
