Too much of a good thing isn't always bad.
Burton knows there's no such thing as too much protection when it comes to your hands, which is why it made the Approach Mitten. Made with DryRide Ultrashell two-layer fabric and a 220g removable fleece liner, the Approach Mitt was designed to keep your hands warm on the coldest days of riding. And with its soft chamois goggle wipe and Screen Grab Toughgrip palm, the Approach Mitt will be your go–to mitt for keeping your hands warm and protected.

Great Touring Mitten
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
My favorite setup for ski touring. A liner and shell combined into one make for great versatility. Burton nailed it with this setup.
Snug as a bug!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
These mittens super comfy keep the hands nice toasty and dry fit true to size I would recommend them you won't be upset.
Super warm even without the liners. Stayed on well too.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
These mittens are fantastic. I have always been a big mitten fan, and it seams like the market for them is getting smaller and smaller. These kept my hands incredibly warm in next to 0 degree weather while shoveling roofs in Massachusetts. The large gator on the bottom is great to go over the sleeves of your jacket and prevent snow from getting in the mitten, and the removable liner is a plus, if you hand get too warm you cans imply remove it. I would definitely recommend these to everyone. They are extremely comfortable and super warm.
Three in one
A team favorite for its highly versatile 3-in-1 design, it combines an extra-rugged DRYRIDE Ultrashell? 2L fabric with the quick-drying warmth of a removable fleece liner.
One of burtons best selling gloves. Keeping your wallet full and your finger happy! Removable Fleece Liner is what gets me. Rock both the shell and the liner when its freezing or when you are all hot and heavy from slaying the mountain then maybe take the liner out and you have a perfect shell to keep you perfectly dry!
Absolutely love these!
I got the rasta lookin' ones (True black/Astro Turf/Gold Medal/Cardinal) and they're super warm and comfy. The removable liner is very useful when you want to do something that requires your fingers but you don't want them to freeze.
