Hi-I'm considering these pants vs. the Burton hover pants.

Hi-I'm considering these pants vs. the Burton hover pants. I do a lot of hiking and some backcountry riding, mostly all mountain kind of riding.Are these Gore-Tex material or the waterproof material something else? Are these pants like a shell pant or do they have an insulating liner? Is the fit similar to the Burton hover?
