Description

Primo pants.

Burton's AK line is built to withstand the harshest mountain conditions, and the Men's AK 3L Hover Gore-Tex Pants are no exception. Utilizing Gore-Tex 3L fabric, these britches will keep you dry whether you're heli skiing in BC or making non-stop tram laps on the home dome.

Resin, bog, and lion colors are fitted with Gore-Tex Stretch 3-layer fabric and fully taped seams for increased mobility while you're riding. Hyperlink and true black colors are made with Gore-Tex Pro Shell fabric, fully taped seams, and a 70D Gore Micro Grid Backer for bomb-proof durability. Burton's AK fit optimizes performance thanks to an articulated design that's loose enough for layers yet not overly bulky, and the Crossflow thigh vents provide maximum airflow for quick cool-downs after leg-burning powder runs. YKK water-resistant zippers keep your valuables dry when stored in the 2 hand and rear pockets. Meanwhile, the Gore-Tex 3L remains breathable when you're hiking for the goods.

  • Gore-Tex 3L
  • Fully taped seams
  • AK Fit (performance oriented, articulated)
  • Crossflow thigh vents
  • Internal boot gaiters
  • YKK matte water-resistant zippers
  • 2 bellowed hand, 2 zippered rear pockets

Update,
I put these pants through quite the test for the last week boarding 5 consecutive days. They did keep me dry which is great. The back right pockets internal seam busted while on the slopes luckily my wallet did not slip out of the pants. For pants that are only a couple of months old with say 30 or so days riding in them this is something that should not happen. See photo.
I know burton has a lifetime warranty but its a huge hassle to have to change these out through there warranty program. Its like that saying from Tommy Boy, did they sell me a quality product or a piece of crap with a lifetime warranty. I am leaning towards low quality with a lifetime warranty. After examining the seals on the Goretex I feel that busted seals with minimal use will be a common occurrence.

Best snow pants I have owned. They are very high quality using only the best materials. They vents and pockets are perfectly placed. and the pants attach nicely to the AK jackets. These kept me dry and warm all day while on the slopes.

Weak seals on the internal pockets.
