I have the truant orange version and I must admit everything seems to be up to par except shovel carry. I can't seem to find a good way to fit my shovel which fit in my last AK pack. I'm slightly dissapointed and I'm not sure whether to exchange it or just live with it.

I have nothing but love for this pack, all the seams are tight and durable, the top pouch is perfect for an iPod, Digital camera, (actually it could fit 3-4 iPods)
or anything else you don't want to shove into this bag. The Shoulder Straps are super comfy as well as the back panel....Wow, the back panel is so comfortable. But my favorite thing is a small but very pleasing feature-the buckles. THEY ARE AWESOME! They are so easy to undo but yet so reliable I can't even fathom how Burton come up with all these sweet features.
Overall this backpack get an A+, a 100%, and all Five Stars.

This pack holds a board well in both the vertical and horizontal position. The hip pockets are nice for tools and snacks. I found the mp3/goggle pocket to be about right for goggles, but that fills it up. Suspension is comfortable with the right amount of padding. The internal storage for a shovel blade and handle is nice, although I'm not sure how durable the material will be against sharper metal. The side compression straps work well for carrying trekking poles and other items. Overall I'm impressed, just hope the build quality and materials will hold up to the test of time.
