For dawn-to-dusk backcountry sessions and extreme-weather days at the resort, zip up your Burton AK Women’s 2L Summit Jacket. Burton made this burly AK jacket from two-layer Gore-Tex Performance Shell to ensure you stay dry when you ride in any winter conditions. Burton sealed all the seams with Gore-Seam tape, a 13-millimeter-width tape (i.e., narrow) that reduces the Summit’s bulk while increasing its breathable surface area—the better for your sweat to escape so you don’t get clammy. A zippered neck gusset lets you vent when you’re postholing up a ridge. Link this loose-but-not-baggy-fit jacket to your Burton pants to create a head-to-toe shield from nasty weather. **DISCONTINUED**

Nope.
This is not an insulated jacket. You'd definitely have to wear something underneath it.

I've been riding for almost 10 years and this has been my favorite jacket ever. It's super warm without being too heavy, has all the pockets, zippers, elastics you could ever want and has a powder skirt with loops so you can attach it to your pants. no more snow down your pants. the exterior sheds water/snow like crazy. I got the cyan color and it's gorgous.
