Bottom Line: The best waterproof breathable protection in the world.
I have a 44 inch chest and I have Burton Ronin Jacket in XL but I am worried that if I get this one in XL it wont fit. The sizing chart puts me on the border. I got the Burton Beacon soft shell in XL and it was small. I am 6'1" 200 lbs. I want something looser and baggy. Anyone know if this will work?
im debating buying this jacket - because of the pullover. i think i would like the pockets on the front. and the totally pink colour looks awesome...but the pullover might get annoying?!
yeah the color looks awesome!...if you can hande wearing your regular jacket with the zipper at half mast then i think it would not be a problem at all...you cant rip it off and run but idk why you would ever do that haha...the pullover thing is a different look too, and along with the pink color-those are two AWESOME reasons to put up with the pullover

The Jussi Anorak is one of my favorite jackets. I love the pullover since I first started boarding in 94. It was nice to find a super high quality unit with the Gore-Tex quality and the dope Burton styling. I enjoy the roomier cut and extended length. It work out awesome last week on a knee deep powder day. When I hit a large rock with my back the jacket remained unscathed and all I had was a purple egg to remember the fall. The jacket was unharmed. I was worried the shell would be weak, but I totally believe in the 2L performance shell for both comfort and strength. Soft to the touch and ready to Rock! I give high praise and recommend this pullover! WORD!
Does this jacket run big in size? I want something that will fit alright but still be big enough for me to be able to grow a little and still fit in it.
LOVE IT!! i like the pullover..u will be glad if u buy this...much better that a zipper runnin down..its just so much better!!!!!! PULLOVER SNOWBOARD JACKETS ARE THE WAY TO GO!!! its, cumfy, light feeling with the pullover., Awesome..another reason to get outside..u get to wear an amazing jacket!!!! BUY IT!!!! - u;ll be glad you did! (:
hey can this jacket fit over a helmet? and does anyone know what those two zippers at the neck are for? also never used a pullover-someone wana tell what it's all about
As with almost every Burton jacket this is made to fit over a helmet. The two zippers are there because this jacket snugs right up close to your chin/face so when you need some breathing room, also they're to aid in the process of installation and removal of the jacket......since there isn't a zipper all the way down. Pullovers are really nice. Maybe a little less easy to put on but once it's on they're really great. There's no honkin big zipper down the front of your jacket that will cause issues with movement. It's a very clean way to go for a jacket. Hope that helps.
Just got this jacket in the Green color. I am really excited to test it out. First the sizing. I am 6'1" 200 lbs with 46"chest and 36" waist. All my Burton stuff is XL but this jacket a L fit perfectly with enough room to move and not lift up. THe technical aspects of the jacket are great, the gortex, powder skirt, and wrist closures are nice. The neck/collar sits high but gives enough room to breath so it is not choking you. All around good jacket.
love this jacket.it keeps me warm & dry on the deepest powder days in kirkwood, & keeps me cool on the sunniest days, when i open the pit zips for some air flow. had to order a second one because the first one was to big. the great people of backcountry was very fast on my refund. "thanks & job well done" folks over at backcountry. love this sit!
It's an extremely waterproof shell made for layering. It's more lightweight and waterproof than it is warm. If you're looking for warm maybe you should seek out an insulated piece. This could be warm in the sense you paired it with proper layering because it would keep you very dry thus equaling warmth. Check out some of Burton's first layers and Mid layers.
Cheap inner liner started fraying and coming apart from the velcro of my one glove. Burton's warranty is a pain as well since you have to do all the work.
The Jussi Anorak is one of my favorite jackets. I love the pullover since I first started boarding in 94. It was nice to find a super high quality unit more...
