The Burton 2.5 Layer Slick Jacket takes a fresh approach to the classic slicker shell, and keeps you drier than a stray biscuit in the back of the breadbox. Nearly three layers of Burton’s patented Dryride Durashell coated fabric repel water like your breath repels ladies, so you know it’s effective. Waterproof zippers and fully taped seams only add to the H2O dissing, and adjustable cuffs and a slim cut give you the fit you need to not feel like you’re wearing a trashbag poncho. Remember that the Slick Jacket is only a shell, so you’ll need some proper layering underneath to stay warm.

Bottom Line: Brush your teeth and put on the Burton 2.5L Slick Jacket to weather the rain.

Alright, this is a good jacket. as previously stated it does run a bit big but it turned out fitting me perfectly. Keeps water out, doesnt ride up, and looks good. It tears easily. I went on ONE tree run and a flimsy branch tore it about 3 inches across the left side. Regardless, still a good jacket, I would recommend to anyone.

Great shell

Runs a little big, as you can expect a normal snowboarding brand to run, especially burton. I didn't really like the zipper that much, it seemed like the zipper would always get stuck. Now i know that most water proof zippers don't slide as easily as normal zippers, but this one that I had would be really hard to zip up. I am not sure if that was normal or if i got a busted one.

Besides the zipper, it was super waterproof and really light so it was a pretty good combo.
