Description

With the Burley Classic Hitch, you tow the kids today, and your spouse tows them tomorrow.

If you plan to use your Burley child trailer with more than one bike, or your bike has Breezer-style dropouts, then you need the Burley Classic Hitch.

  • Works with bikes that have Breezer-style dropouts
  • Fits most bikes and is compatible with all Burley trailers; it easily transfers from one bike to another
  • Note: This hitch does NOT work with bikes that have disk brakes, rear suspension, or mono-stay

Here's what others have to say...

not sure if my question is about this hitch...

not sure if my question is about this hitch exactly. I am looking for hitch to mount on my standard mountain bike so that I may tow a spreader behind it. I am hoping to use it to pull 100 # capacity fertilizer/seed spreader, the kind that would usually be pulled behind a riding mower or 4 wheeler. Anything out there that would work for me?

One of our hitches will certainly attach to your bike. Whether your spreader will be able to latch to the hitch is questionable. These videos should help you out:
