Good for everything under the sun!

  • Gender:Female
  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'8"
    Weight: 135 lbs
    Size Purchased: one size

These are a must have for anyone that gets outside. It's really nice to give yourself a break from the sun while fishing, going on a long bike ride, hiking, or even gardening. They have made very good gifts, as well.

They are very easy to breathe and talk in, which was the most important feature, for me. Also, they stay in place. I forget I'm wearing it at all.

it works. plain and simple

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 6'0"
    Weight: 170 lbs

this is one of my most important pieces of gear. there's nothing as abundant in the wild as bugs. put this on and consider it an invisibility cloak. at one point bugs seemed to hover around me in confusion. the only reason i had to buy another one, after 4 years, is because it STANK. durable, functional, fashionable, case closed

Glad I bought them

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

In preparation for a trip up to the bug infested U.P. of Michigan for a canoe, hiking, fishing trip, I thought these would come in handy. Boy was I right. For a trip ranging from 80-45 degrees and buggy, This was either around my neck or on my head for almost the entire trip. When it was hot out on the water, I had it around my neck for sweat or used to cover my neck and ears from the sun. In the woods, it was from chin to the back of my head for bug protection. While sleeping in 45 degrees, it was flipped into a pajama cap. Both my girlfriend and I agreed it was one of the best gear buys we made for the trip. Don't leave home without it.

2 Buffs

2 Buffs

The bug slinger and traditional red bandana Buffs. One of my top five gear pieces for a 5 day canoe trip through the U.P.

A Great product all around

    Great for all out door actives & intimidating when paired with a helmet/hat, Thin enough & not bulky underneath a helmet/hat. This is my third buff. Buff's are worth every penny {12 uses in one & cheaper than most balaclava's }

    Good Style. OK for Snowboarding

I bought this for the fact that it can be used in many different ways when snowboarding, either as a mask or head wrap. It was good for the most part at keeping me warm and preventing the wind from whipping me in the face, but I found it really hard to breathe through when it started to get wet. I wish it was more water repellent for that reason. Otherwise, it looks great and does its job in drier weather.
