Great fit - thankful for it!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

Started out hiking this weekend and was glad I had made this a last minute order from BC. Worked well, soft, non restrictive, and overall a great cover.

User error didn't have it positioned well and at the end of the day had a nice tan line - but that's on me.

Great fit - thankful for it!

Super comfy

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I have tried other neck gators and so far this is the best one! Super comfy, and keeps the sun off. Light enough not to restrict movement or get in the way of my helmet (Smith) but think enough to keep you covered/warm. Washed easily no problems.

Super comfy

Too tight - returned

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

too tight. flex fit hats are also to tight for me though for your reference. If you are normal or smaller person it's probably fine. I wish they had a two sizes, large and small but they don't so return it is. I still gave good rating though because if it fits you I imagine it's would be great.

You don't have to be buff to wear a Buff

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These things make wearing "neck warmers" cool again. I ditched neck warmers back in grade school because A.) they always froze and thawed into a goopy dinosaur breath ridden mess of lukewarm fuzz and B.) they just weren't cool any more. Buffs are quite the opposite. Asides from being the "in" product these days, they're low profile and light weight - but the material is quality enough to keep the wind off my face without soaking through from constant breathing. This seemingly little detail is what makes or breaks such a product, and this one does the trick. As an added plus they come in tons of sweet designs whether your a park rat, a grand mother or a heady soul rider.

Keeping me protected and my hat grounded, the buff excelled in desert highlands.

The UV Buff protected me from scorching my neck in the harsh high desert where rattlers lie in wait. I also stretched the buff over my hat to keep the wind from blowing it clean off my head and off to sail 4,000 feet back down to Earth. Buffs are multi-functional and the clothing equivalent of a multi-tool.

Perfect for fly fishing

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I wore the buffs on 2 blistering days fly fishing in Southern California and it protected my face and my neck from the sunburn and kept me cool. I will try it on my next half marathon run.
Great product, will buy again for my wife.

Good for anything

I use it for either snowboarding or playing soccer on cold days. Either way it works great. Light weight so it doesnt get to hot but dries quickly. These things are great for any activity that you need to have a little face or head protection.

Love these

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These buffs are extremely lightweight and breathable. In fact, I wear them over my face while doing aerobic activities and I don't feel as though my breathing is impeded one bit. I primarily use Buffs for UV protection while fly fishing and as a really light neck gaiter while skiing. I would note that Buffs are not warm for skiing, but they will keep the wind directly off your face and keep the snow out of your mouth when in deep powder.

black rock city approved

I wore the UV Buff Bandana while biking around the dusty streets of Black Rock City Nevada, and it was perfect for the task! My neck was protected the sun and I was able to keep my mouth and nose covered when the epic dust storms blew through. Plus, the classic bandana print was a winner.

I Love My Buff!

I got this Buff for Snowboarding and while hiking in the desert. It does feel a little cool when snowboarding as in it doesn't keep my neck as warm as a fleece neck gaiter and like everything else it is still slightly hard to breath through, but it is OK. It keeps the snow and sun off my face.
Down in the hot desert I use it to keep the sun from burning my neck and face. It works very well and also converts to many different ways to wear it! I Love My Buff! :)
