Essential equipment
Essential equipment

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Protects face and nose and everything you need it to. Without slipping down. I wear it with a helmet when it's 20F or below and it shields your face, keeps you warm, and doesn't soak with moisture. It goes in my gear bag every day.

not worth the $$$

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size

Fabric is very thin and stretchy, kind of like you'd use for a pair of tights. I don't see how this would be warm at all! (I thought it was going to be more like lightweight fleece.) Plus the edges are unhemmed and raw, which makes it look really cheap. All in all , not worth the money. This is like a $6 item.

Eh

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The video makes this thing look way more awesome than it is. I intended to use this as a face mask while skiing but found it to be too tight to be comfortable around my face. My face is of normal size by the way...

light weight and effective

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

After 15 yrs of skiing w/ no face protection, I caved and bot a Buff. Super lightweight. Lives in my pocket most of the time and with no bulk it is readily accessible when the next big storm rolls in.

Protects your face from the wind and cold while not retaining moisture. Light-weight, easy to wear, and it looks great both on and off the mountain
