Cooking is difficult when the wind blows the heat away from your food. The Brunton Windscreen provides the necessary protection to keep your Vapor AF or other stove working properly in gusty conditions. Brunton made the Windscreen from aluminum, so it won't pull heat away from the stove—instead, this screen reflects the heat back. Small, lightweight, simple, and effective, the Windscreen is a valuable companion to your favorite Brunton liquid fuel stove. *Fuel Canister not included.
Bottom Line: Any way the wind blows, doesn't really matter when you have a Brunton Windscreen.

Not as pretty as the picture..

The aluminum comes folded in its package. It is not as pretty as the picture when it is all setup. Additionally, the description neglects to tell the buyer that it is not intended for cannister type stoves.. and that is what I have!

I use this windscreen with my Brunton Optimus Nova stove for winter backpacking. Very light and fits around my stove perfectly. It totally blocks the wind and really helps to burn fuel more efficiently.
