This is a great set with a sweet storage pouch to hold everything together. The pics make them look like they are coated however they are not. When I wasn't using the frying pan I used it to seal off the pots to boil water, worked perfect.Bottom line you can't go wrong for the price of this setup, most pans cost almost the same amount as this entire set!
Is this set indeed stainless steel,the photos portray them black
Is this set indeed stainless steel,the photos portray them black and can the frypan be used as a lid on the saucepans and viceversa,saucepans on top of the frypans..Thx b

As a boyscout leader I can tell you that stainless steel cookwear is the best pick for the young scout! Economical, durable, and goof proof.
