What sets the Brunton Polaris LED Lantern apart from the rest of the crowd? Instead of a harsh, glaring light, this LED lantern emits 360-degrees of natural light with no dead spots. You shouldn't have to deal with glare or random black spots when you're playing cards at camp or having a campside dinner with the family. Three C batteries power the Brunton Polaris LED Lantern for 50 hours.

bought this as my wife was getting worried about our gas lamps with the kids and
have had good experience with replacing LED bulbs in my maglights (brighter, longer battery life, indestructable)
- and this is a great pice of kit. it is a little 'warmer' in light quality than most LEDs (there's a yellow filter over the LED!), gives a good diffuse light, has 2 brightness settings, seems pretty rugged, compact size (smaller than i had imagined) and great battery life.
15 ounces (including 3 "C" batteries), 7 x 3.25 inches.
