The Brunton My-Ti Spork is a fork, spoon, and bottle opener squashed into one utensil. Made from super strong titanium, the My-Ti won't make your food taste like metal, and is incredibly lightweight. In fact, Brunton's My-Ti Spork weighs only slightly more than half an ounce.
Bottom Line: Simplify your life—leave your fork and spoon at home and take the Brunton My-Ti Spork on your next camping trip.
Love this thing. You can often find one stashed in my backpack in the event a barbecue breaks out and of course it has a permanent place in my backpack when camping or hiking. Very strong, light and sharp teeth. Highly recommend.

Spork looks great, haven't had a chance to use it yet. The one I received didn't have the bottle opener and when I contacted BC.com about this I was told they didn't have any of those in stock. Polished end makes eating a pleasure, it only got 4 stars because it didn't have the awesome bottle opener built in.
I think the bottle opener is more like a built-in carabiner type of deal like the following pic... did they took the feature out for maybe a stronger overall handle?
This is the only silverware you need on the trail as its light and durable. I used this in conjunction with a Jet Boil and it worked quite well backpacking 54 miles through Harriman State Park in NY. Glad I bought a few of these - one for the car in case of emergencies and one for work.
The image provided with this product is incorrect as it *does* come with the builtin bottle opener.
I have used it with my jetboil a bunch keeping in mind that I could scratch the pan. So I never really scrape hard or enough to scratch the surface. It will for sure scratch teflon or coated cookware. The teeth are sharp and metal. check out this one from MSR it is plastic and folds up MSR Spork Item #CAS0548
Would definitely not recommend it for teflon. I used a titanium spork with my Jetboil which has a nonstick coating and it got pretty well scratched up. Stick to plastic utensils for stirring. MSR and others have some great options.
After breaking a dozen plastic backpacking spoons while stirring noodles. I broke down and purchased three of these and LOVE them, I recommend them to everybody, they are so sturdy, light and last sooooo much longer than plastic. So skip buying plastic and just upgrade now...you will be so glad you did!
