The Brunton Echo Compact Binocular fits in your pocket and won't empty out your wallet. These compact binoculars feature BaK-4 prism glass that offers crisp, bright images. Brunton coated the durable, scratch-resistant optics to reduce glare. The twist-up eye relief system reduces eye strain, so you can use them comfortably for hours. Encased in a waterproof frame, the Echo Compacts are rugged enough for the backcountry.

Bottom Line: The affordable Brunton Echo Compact Binoculars are lightweight and easy to carry and use anywhere, from the baseball game to the surf competition to the backcountry.

Just what i wanted !

By:
October 16, 2009

I wanted smaller, less bulky and lighter binoculars and these are exactly that. Recently used them in the San Juans, from the ferry, the beach, while hiking and kayaking. I could see details of the islands and the wildlife (better than with my camera). The only thing they couldn't do was see through the cloud cover to give me a clear view of Mt. Baker.

The 10x25 will offer a larger magnification, the 8x25 offers a greater field of view. They both have their advantages and disadvantages, but I'd probably take a wider range lens (the 8x25) to scout around, and then my Nikon camera with a giant telephoto lens to capture good ol' Moby on film.

Lightweight and compact but so easy to use. Just returned from whale watching and mountain gazing in San Juan Islands. They were perfect.

Excellent All Around Binoculars

By:
August 26, 2009

Purchased the Brunton Echo Compact Binoculars 10 X 25 for a 2 week trip to Alaska. Took multiple 1/2 day hikes in Denali and they worked great. No fogging, light weight, and clear. Case allowed wearing on belt all day for easy access when needed. Also used in Cordova and along the Copper River Highway to the Childs Glacier stopping periodically to look at wildlife. For the size, capability, and price, they can not be beat. Would purchase again.
