    Details

When Brodin designers dreamed up the Tailwater Ghost Series Net, they were thinking about big rivers, big hook-nosed browns, and big glossy rainbows. The thermoplastic Ghost net won't snag flies and is gentle on fish while the long hoop shape allows you to easily land fish up to 28 inches in length.

    • Teak wood is exceptionally durable and handsome, and it is sustainably grown on plantations
    • 9 by 20 inch hoop is ideal for fish up to 28 inches in length
    • Lightweight thermoplastic Ghost net bag won't snag flies, disappears in the water, and is easy on fish
    • Item #BDN0010

    Next Generation Net

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The new thermoplastic nets are a leap forward from the old standard of the mesh nets that would hang up hooks and fish.

The Tailwater is the perfect net when you need a portable, floating, short handle solution and anticipate running into some 20+ inch fish. I've had mine for over 5 years, lost it in rapids, tossed it in my truck after every trip and it is the most durable and effective net I've ever owned.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is my first year running a thermoplastic ghost net and I'm already a big fan. I can just tell that its easier on the fish when they are in there compared to my old mesh style net. And my flies never get all hooked up in the plastic which is nice. So far I've had a 24 inch fish in there, with plenty of room to spare. Construction is bomber, although be careful of snagging your net on a log thus ripping the plastic, but that's common knowledge.
