Nothing knows how to party like the Brixton Tiller Hat. A little safari and a little suave, this felt hat shields your eyes from the sun and feels nice and smooth whether you're kicking it in first class or bumping along on a bus in Chile. A long tie lets you flick the Tiller off your head and hang it around your neck should the need arise to remove your lid without losing it.

A great sun hat or any day hat.

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

So cute! I bring this hat on climbing trips with me, horseback riding or just wear it around town. The leather strap is great for knocking it off but still holding on to it.

It will be great for colder weather too as the felt is pretty warm!

A great sun hat or any day hat.

Fabulous Fall Hat

I bought this hat for my boyfriend, but I plan to wear it myself a lot. It is a great fall accessory, adding style to any outfit. I love the wide brim and rope accent.

the best

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Its my new favorite hat. Great for hiking or just walking around the city. The sun is no match for the big brim so you don't need to worry about the sun getting in your face too much.

So how packable is this hat? If i stuff it in a bag or suitcase is it going to regain its shape? I want to hike in it, and concerned about how well it'll hold up to elements and packing. Thanks!

Most wool hats tend to pop back out, but it might take a while for it to regain shape.... I would say wool is better than leather for regaining shape.

Pretty rad hat, great for those sun loving days. I typically wear a 7 3/4 baseball cap, got this in a size large and it's a tiny bit too big, but still good enough to keep and wear. I fear a medium would be too small. I bought this for a CR trip and rocked it through every sun exposed jungle venture - protected my dome and gave me something to spray up with the bug killer instead of having to spray my bald head. Rad!

I have worn this all over the place, I love it, its felt so it is a bit warmer so if you get sweaty you may get a little itchy but it looks really cute when its around your neck on your back as well.

I love!

Super cute, fun hat! I love how big the brim is, I bought it in black and it literally goes with any outfit. I wore it on a long, hot hike this weekend in Moab and because it's a felt hat it trapped lots of heat. That being said I would recommend wearing this during cooler days if you're doing anything active, if you're just hanging out on a hot day then I think it will do the job! I originally ordered a medium and had to exchange for a small...I'm a small human so I should have known the medium would be too big!

It's a hat. A hat to shade you.

  • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit:True to size

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend. He looks f-ing hot in it. Thanks, Coal, for making such a great quality hat that he looks absolutely sizzlin' in! He loves the hat and recommends it.

I wear a 7 1/2 baseball hat and the large fit just right. The fall/winter version of my straw lifeguard hat. Superb quality for price. More of a nice wool than a cheapy felt. Love it.

I am right at about 23 inches, maybe 23.1 or so. should I go with the medium or large? Will the felt stretch a little bit as it gets broken in?

One thing I learned as a child back when I showed ponies in 4H. Its better to get a hat that's a little too big than one that is too tight. I suggest you go with the Large as it fits up to a 23.6 head circumference.

Write your question here...Is there a size to order or is it one size fits all? If one size fits all, what is that size?

The "S" in the select options stands for Small, looks like that is all we have left.

Here's a little more specific of a sizing chart:

To pick your appropriate hat size, measure around your head where you would like the base or brim of the hat to sit in inches or centimeters.

S: hat size 7, circumference - 56 cm/22 in

M: hat size 7.25, circumference - 58cm/22.8in

L: hat size 7.5, circumference - 60 cm/23.6in

XL: hat size 7.75, circumference - 62cm/24.4in
