I really like the fit of this sock, but it is not as durable as I would like. Great for awhile and then no longer tight. If it stayed tighter longer I would love it but as it stands it okay.

These are the best ski socks I've ever used. I've used them the past year, both backcountry and resort, and they still look and feel new. My boots fit better, are more comfortable and warmer. Get a pair!

Great Socks

By:

I got these socks for free so I was a little iffy since I'm a girl and these are men's socks but overall they work really nicely! Ive taken them up skiing in every condition from early season rocks, March blizzards, to the summer season skiing at Arapahoe Basin and every time they perform wonderfully! They keep my feet warm and dry but they have been known to get a little twisted after a hard days skiing. They're definitely a comfy pair of socks, though, and I'd recommend them whether you're a guy or a girl.

As a girl, I'm currently wearing a size medium and I wear a size 7 shoe.

Good stuff

Good for the price! Not much padding, but the padding it has is in the right places. they stay up all day rather than get bunched up at the bottom of my boots, and kept me super toasty!

Very Nice Socks

I bought two pairs of these prior to a week-long hut trip with Valhalla Mountain Touring in B.C. These are a variable thickness ski sock that was thin in the toes, thick in the mid section, and have a nice heel pad to help keep it in place. Overall I am very pleased with the Bridgedale socks and have no reason to buy anything else.

Awesome socks after four days!

By:
February 16, 2009

I wore these for four solid skiing days in a row without washing them (nasty!) and they remained comfortable, warm, and dry. They didn't even stink much! This was in about 20-30 degree skiing in Breck and even in my rental boots I was still comfortable.

Merino wool feels like silk. Plus the padding in the heel. Excellent ski sock. Helps keep my heel fit in the boot.
Perfect for logging hours in my ski boots.

Love the fit around the heel and no padding on the forefoot. Awesome for snug fitting boots if you want to prevent heel slip for touring.

Good padding around the calf but too thin for a ski sock around the foot.

If you're looking for a thicker sock, there is a mid-weight version of this sock.
